Our story
Closing the gap between education and the modern workplace
IIBP is a division of the Asia Pacific Education Group (APEG). We design high-impact professional development that people can fit around work and life, and apply on the job straight away.
What started as a small initiative to connect like-minded professionals has grown into a membership platform with certificated short courses, digital badges, training programs and an international network of members and institutions.

- 2021
IIBP is founded
The International Institute of Business Professionals is established and registered with the Australian Securities Commission.
- 2021
APEG becomes APEG Pty Ltd
The Asia Pacific Education Group becomes a 100% privately owned Australian company (ABN 73 649 332 187).
- 2023
IIBP joins the APEG Group
Ownership of IIBP moves into the new APEG corporate structure, bringing IIBP and its sister college ATC under one group.

Group Chairman & Founder
Award-winning businessman and medical scientist with more than four decades of business leadership across Australia, the Philippines and Indonesia.

Nick trained in Australia and at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith, London. His career spans healthcare, hospitality, education, furniture manufacturing, retail, international recruitment, property development and consulting.
As founding President and CEO of Asia Pacific Medical & Diagnostic Services Inc., he became the only foreigner licensed to build and operate a 100% foreign-owned integrated health-care system in the Philippines, earning pioneer status and the joint ANZCham and ANZ Bank Business Awards. He later founded the Australian Skills Institute to bring a transnational blended dual-diploma program to Philippine higher education.
He has served as Vice President of the Queensland Filipino Chamber of Commerce and of the Australia Papua New Guinea Association, was Business Ambassador to the Philippines for the City of Ipswich from 2010, and in 2021 received the inaugural Asia Global Heroes Highest Award for services to healthcare, education and employment.
Dr. Terry O'Hanlon-Rose

Lifelong educator and education entrepreneur who has led training organisations, colleges and businesses in Australia and abroad.

Terry holds a Doctorate in Education, a Master's in Business Administration and Information Technology, and degrees in Education and Science. His work has been recognised with the National Literacy & Numeracy in Education Award, the De Bono Innovation Award and the Australasian IT&T Excellence Award.
A frequent presenter, writer and host of international forums, he has joined several Australian Government trade missions, building partnerships with colleges and universities and developing borderless blended-delivery education models. He champions education that is affordable, accessible and grounded in literacy, numeracy and employability skills.
Dr. Reade De Leacy
Group Director
Chief Executive Officer of APEG and an internationally recognised neurointerventional specialist at Mount Sinai, New York.

Dr. De Leacy graduated in medicine with honours from the University of Queensland and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2012, receiving the Uhr Clarke Bursary and HR Sear Prize as the top-ranked graduate. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology in the United States.
He has published widely in neuroradiology, interventional radiology and neuroendovascular surgery, and in 2020 received the Mount Sinai Cullman Family Award for Excellence in Physician Communication.
